Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools are strengthening their growth plans as the Group moves towards its goal of more than 80 schools. The Annual Leadership Meet in Navi Mumbai brought together principals and leadership team members from across India. The event focused on shared ideas and future plans while keeping the needs of students and families at the centre.
The three day gathering was held under the theme “Navigating the Next Horizon: Charting the Course to 80+ Schools.” It reflected VIBGYOR’s plans for expansion and its commitment to maintaining quality education. The meeting also gave school leaders a chance to discuss the challenges and opportunities that may come with a larger school network.
Rustom Kerawalla highlighted that the target of 80+ schools should not be viewed only as a number. For him the quality of the experience created for students and families is equally important. This vision places a strong focus on creating schools where learners can receive good education while families feel connected to the school community.
Principals from different VIBGYOR campuses shared their experiences during the gathering. They discussed ideas that could help improve learning environments and school operations. Sharing these experiences allowed leaders to understand different challenges and learn from successful practices followed at other campuses.
The event also included four internal panel discussions. Each session looked at an important part of the education system. The Future of Schooling panel discussed how schools can respond to a changing world. The Parents and Community panel focused on building stronger connections with families and local communities.
The Teachers of the Future discussion highlighted the need for strong educators. Teachers are an important part of any school and their role becomes even more important as education continues to develop. The Business of Education panel looked at operational and financial planning. Such planning can help the Group support sustainable growth while maintaining its educational priorities.
VIBGYOR Vice Chairperson Kavita Kerawalla also spoke about the responsibility of school leaders. She highlighted how principals help build communities around their schools. Her message focused on the importance of cooperation between parents teachers and students.
The leadership gathering also included motivational sessions. Brigadier Baleyada Muthanna Cariappa spoke about resilience discipline and leadership. Indian Paralympian Deepa Malik shared lessons from her sporting journey and inspired school leaders through her experiences.
